Mohamed Khadad, the Polisario’s Coordinator with the UN said Morocco insists on ignoring the UN resolutions about Western Sahara. “Enough is enough. We have our arms,” he informed the UN Secretary General.

Khadad showed optimism over the UN Secretary General Bank Ki Moon’s visit to refugees’ camps and liberated lands.

“We have big hopes that the visit would be successful and achieve progress,” he told a news conference on Thursday.

He talked about Moroccan manoeuvres to hinder Ban Ki Moon’s visit including the murder of a Sahrawi civilian in the liberated lands. He described the assassination as a “war crime.”

Speaking about Morocco which refused to receive Ban Ki Moon, he said the visit is paid in “difficult conditions. What was done by Morocco is a failure. The Secretary General can not impose the visit.”

He added that Morocco became the biggest exporter of terrorism in the world. The number of soldiers mobilized by King Mohamed the Sixth in the occupied Sahrawi lands reached 100. “Their latest crime was the murder of a Sahrawi man in an area where the UN forces were present.

“Morocco has no power on the Sahrawi land. We have an administrative and political power on our liberated lands,” he said.

He believes that the UN solved problems in the world. “They did not do much for us but we hope that the visit be good for talks.”

He also said his front would resume the armed fight if the political process fails. “The armed choice would be legitimated.”

He criticized France and the Security Council  for making the occupation of the Sahrawi land last more than 40 years.
