Marine Le Pen, president of the National Front, the far-right French party, launched a virulent attack, one too many, against Algeria, whose hard-won independence in 1962 remained stuck in the gizzard of his father, Jean-Marie Le Pen, the vengeful torturer during the War of National Liberation. Here with her new venomous remarks at the expense of our country, we see that she’s indeed the daughter of her sinister and blameworthy father!
And Marine Le Pen did not refrain from only hitting out bitterly at Algeria, she also accused Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Morocco of waging what she termed as an “unhealthy policy” influencing Muslims in France while strongly urging the French authorities to stop welcoming helpless migrants and refugees.
Florian Philippot, vice-president of the National Front, asserted meanwhile, that there were 2.200 mosques in France and called for a freeze of all construction of new places of Muslim worship across French territory because they have become as he claimed: “youth radicalization centers aimed at instilling extremist ideology”.
He went on lamely criticizing the French Council of the Muslim Faith, which he described as “a propaganda tool to influence Muslims” as he put it, noting also that “there is a conflict of vested interest and a power struggle between Morocco, Algeria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia about the takeover of the worshippers through the financing of mosques.
