President Tebboune: “Algeria Seeks To Bolster Bonds Of Brotherhood With Morocco”

The President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message of congratulations to the King of Morocco Mohammed VI on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the accession of the Moroccan sovereign to the throne in 1999.

In his message, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune expresses his sincere congratulations and best wishes to King Mohammed VI and further progress and prosperity to the brotherly Moroccan people.

The President of the Republic took this opportunity to reaffirm the depth of the bonds of sincere fraternity which unites the two brotherly peoples, marked by the values of mutual aid anchored in the common history, while expressing his firm determination to continue working to further strengthen the relations of brotherhood, good neighborliness and cooperation uniting the two brotherly peoples.

As a reminder, the Moroccan Monarch sent a congratulatory telegram last December to President Tebboune, on his accession to the presidency of the republic, and called on him to “open a new page in the relations of the two neighboring countries, on the basis of mutual trust and constructive dialogue”, while President Tebboune expressed in a television interview last month, Algeria’s desire to open up to any initiative to overcome the crisis with the Kingdom.
