Algerian international Riyad Mahrez will not mind moving this summer to AS Roma, Italian daily La “Gazzetta dello Sport” reported Tuesday.

The AS Roma team has been placed second in the table of the Italian championship version 2016-2017, and will play the European Champions League, starting from next September.

That is why Riyad Mahrez does not reject the Italian “Wolves” proposal, according to the same media outlet, which added however that the “lame” payoff for such a transfer made Leicester City manager insist not to turn easily the Greens’ football star into AS Roma.

Negotiations will continue in the next few days between the AS Roma and Leicester City Administrations, it said.

It should be noted that the English club’s managers have waived raising the ceiling of the financial requirement to an amount of at least 40 million Euros, after it was in the range of 55 million Euros, while their counterparts from the “Wolves” club propose 26 million Euros with other privileges for signing Riyad Mahrez this summer.

This is happening at a time when the technical manager Craig Shakespeare, Leicester City’s coach, stated that the club’s Management did not receive any formal offer, in an attempt to neutralize any confusion on the deal, or a way to force the clubs that wish to sign Riyad Mahrez to meet the financial requirements of the “Foxes” club.

Much talented winger Riyad Mahrez, 26, had two professional titles in the French and English championships. He has recently stated that he wants to move this summer to a respectable club competing in the 2017-2018 European Champions League.
