Sonatrach Dismisses Omar Gharib From MCA Club

Sonatrach administration dismissed, on Saturday, Omar Gharib from the head of MC Algiers club, without providing sufficient explanation.

Echorouk news said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of MC Algiers club, Boudjemaa Ladj, officially informed Omar Gharib, on Saturday morning, about the decision of Sonatrach to dismiss him from the presidency of the football club.

The decision to dismiss Gharib was taken last week and was postponed because of the match of Platinum Stars of South Africa for the fifth round of the CAF teams, which played on Friday and realized a victory of MCA club with two goals and qualified to the quarterfinals of the competition.

Echorouk News reported that the former MCA player, Kamal Kassi Essaid is expected to succed Gharib.
