The Moroccan Regime Involved in Another Scandalous Deal

From day to day, it has become clear that the Moroccan regime is continuing its policy of escaping forward, with its provocations that are now seriously threatening the Maghreb region with the possibility of sliding into a war that may come against a regime that is rampaging permanently without caring about the internal dangers, represented by latent popular anger, as well as the consequences of impatience of its neighbours, especially its largest neighbour, Algeria.

There is no doubt that the acquisition of the Alawite regime in Rabat of the two Ofek-13 spy satellites from the Zionist entity will raise the level of Algerian anger due to the penetration of the usurping entity’s influence into the Moroccan regime’s closets and its approach to the red lines drawn by Algeria, which has been described as “the brink of war.”

This slide will cause not only anger for Algeria, but also for all its neighbours in the southern and northern banks, represented by Spain and France in particular, so that this satellite is seen as a more provocative version of the “Pegasus” spy scandal, which targeted mobile phones of many officials in Paris, Madrid, and Algeria, according to the results of many repeated and highly credible investigations.

No statement has been issued by Algeria so far, and this is its habit, as it is not accustomed to publicly expressing its anger at such provocations. However, the situation is different in both France and Spain. Although the matter has so far been limited to media circulation, this does not mean that political discomfort may not appear in the press treatment of an issue that concerns the national security of countries considered allies of the Alawite regime in Rabat.

The French newspaper Les Echos, while dealing with the issue of the Zionist spy satellite “Ofek 13” acquired by Rabat, spoke about the European company “Airbus” losing a deal from a country that had long been a partner of the giant European complex active in the field of aviation and space industry, in favour of a new partner coming to the regional periphery of the old continent.

Airbus is a “group of aircraft manufacturing companies” having branches in Germany, France, Britain and Spain. It produces half of the world’s aircraft. It employs over 57,000 workers, which means that this giant’s loss of a billion-dollar deal is considered an insult from a regime that has always enjoyed the protection of major European capitals, to cover up its human rights crimes in the Alawite Kingdom. Still, the European cover was lifted in one case, and that was in January 2023, in the wake of the outbreak of the “Pegasus” spy scandal, in which the Moroccan regime was involved, so that it was convicted by the European Parliament, for using political corruption, espionage, and imprisoning journalists without fair trials thus violating international laws.

The French newspaper’s reading of Morocco’s focused orientation towards the Zionist entity at the expense of its traditional allies among the largest companies of the old continent indicates that European anger is growing over the Alawite regime’s “betrayal” of historical relations between Brussels and Rabat, and this is also an indication that the mistakes of the Royal Palace towards its traditional partners are accumulating in what appeared to be an attempt to pressurize Europe in the hope of modifying their positions on the Western Sahara issue, which in Rabat’s perspective is considered a matter of life or death, while observers believe that continuing further provocation may lead to adverse results, with Brussels permanently removing its protection of Rabat.

The other issue that will undoubtedly play against the Moroccan regime’s calculations behind this deal is the rising level of Moroccan popular anger at the “betrayal” of King Mohammed VI, who calls himself head of the “Jerusalem Committee” of the Palestinian cause, especially since this deal came after the scandal that it was represented by the Alawite regime in Rabat allowing a Zionist ship loaded with weapons to exterminate Palestinians in the Gaza Strip to dock in the port of Tangiers after the Spanish authorities expelled it.
