Toyota To Build Cars, Trucks' Factories in Algeria
“Toyota Algeria” announced on investment projects, like building factories for the installation of Hino trucks and cars, in addition to a factory for the production of brake plates.
In this framework, Toyota Algeria Director, Noureddine Houssaime, received a senior Japanese delegation from Toyota for manufacturing Hino trucks, and it gave its approval and full support for the construction of the first factory for the installation of the Japanese trucks, as it will launch the production before the end of the current year, with an initial production capacity of 2,000 trucks of light weight and of the type Hino 300.
“Largest car company in the world “Toyota” approved on building a factory for the installation of Toyota cars in Algeria, and is currently considering the nature of the Algerian market, to determine the models that will be manufactured in Algeria.”
“Toyota Algeria investments are not limited to the installation of Japanese trucks and cars, but extend to the industry of brake plates with a production capacity of 200,000 units per year. These industrial investments are in line with the Algerian government’s strategy in the development of industry and investment in Algeria.”
