West Bromwich Competes With OL To Sign Slimani

The English West Bromwich club entered the line to sign the Algerian international player Islam Slimani.

The transfer window for players will close on October, 5. Clubs are still able to sign players as free agents after the October deadline, and as long as they are not officially attached to any club when the window closes.

West Bromwich coach Slaven Bilic is looking for a striker to strengthen his club’s front line, and Slimani has found the perfect player to cover this deficit, the British newspaper “The Telegraph” said in its latest report in this regard.

The Telegraph added that Bilic wanted to bring Slimani for an entire season and that Albion is searching for a striker and have made an inquiry for Slimani, with a view to a season-long loan deal.

Coach Bilic has previously coached the Algerian international player and winger, Sofiane Feghouli, in the English West Ham club in the past few years.

West Bromwich started the new season in the English championship in a bad way, losing two defeats and only scoring one draw in three matches. The negative outcome made him sit at the bottom of the table and ranked 17.

The English West Bromwich team has become a competitor to French club Olympique Lyon, which has entered into negotiations in the past few days with the management of Leicester City, to sign Slimani.

striker Islam Slimani (32) still plays for Leicester City on a contract, which expires in the summer of 2021.

Leicester City’s management is stipulating 10 million euros, in return for the dismissal of Islam Slimani these days.
