Zekri: Mariane Le Pen will appear in court
Chief of the French Observatory for Anti-Islamophobia Abdellah Zekri Thursday said French parties use Islam and Muslims to gain votes in the second round of local elections.
“All the French parties including the moderate ones have launched fierce campaigns against Islam and Muslims in France. They want to gain votes,” Abdellah Zekri told Echorouk on the phone.
“They exploit hate against Islam and Muslim to gain votes. Algerians living in France are a prey for those parties,” he added.
He also said there is competition among French parties to insult Muslims in order to win the elections.
“They do not care about Muslims’ feeling. The Muslim community will be living in hell until December,” he added.
Speaking about the lawsuit he filed against the extremist left wing Mariane Le Pen, he said she will appear in court in Lyon on October 20th. He accuses her of inciting for religion discrimination.
