100 proposals by FLN to amend constitution

FLN revealed on Saturday, on a document which included special proposals about amending the constitution.

FLN’s document included 100 proposals which it said it had maintained a “constitutional sequential continuity and positive ideas that combine both technical and legal work to serve the political requirements”.
Proposals include “executive authority should be “bilateral” and composed of the President of Republic and the Prime Minister, with a preference of a “semi-presidential system”.
The “constitutional document”, which was presented on Saturday, by member of the central committee and deputy of the national assembly, Lamine Cherit, asking the party to appoint the PM among the winning majority in parliament at the people’s national assembly, and also the third of the government members based on the proposal of FLN. If there is no clear majority, the PM will be appointed after consultations by the President of Republic with the parliamentary bloc that will win in the PNA, but if there would be no agreement between the blocs, the president could resolve the council and call for new legislative elections.
FLN proposed the continue working until the appointment of a new government, as the president has the power to appoint his deputy , to exercise the functions that he was entrusted like ending the functions of the PM when he does not win the council’s trust.
