100 travel agencies to organize trip for 10 thousand Algerian fans to Cairo

In coordination with their Egyptian partners, 50 Algerian travel agencies are proposing tourists packages ranging from 4 to 06 days as from November 6, to the Algeria fans in expectation of the decisive world cup qualifier versus Egypt slated for November, 14 in Cairo stadium.

• The Egyptian travel agencies have already put at the disposal of the Algerian ones thousands of rooms in three and four star hotels as well as several buses to transport 10 thousand Algerians with an average of 200 fans per agency. The travel fares are estimated between 50 and 70 thousand Algerian Dinars according to the services and the ticket’s price.
• Two days before the match and three days after to celebrate in  the Pyramids area..
• “F. Tour” manager has declared that the Algerian travel agencies and the Egyptian ones have wrapped their programs and are ready to take in charge 10 thousand Algerian fans who will flock to Cairo in order to support the “Greens” and celebrate their victory on spot in case of a qualification to the South African World Cup. A hall overlooking the pyramids and boats were booked to celebrate the victory of the “Greens” over the “Pharaohs”, he added.

• “Sunshine” Public Relations Naima .S has indicated that her travel agency is proposing to its clients, among the fans who will accompany the “Greens” as from November 11, a 6 night 7 days stay in Cairo crowned by a luxurious dinner on the Nile river soon after the match slated for November 14, but the offer will be limited to families and women only in order to guarantee security and respectability for those families and women who intend to move to Cairo in order to support their national squad.
• She added that her travel agency wanted to satisfy a category who has always been put in the margin of such a sports events, but the problem lies in the fact that the flying tickets soared abruptly passing from simple to almost double. The ticket was estimated at 37 thousand Algerian Dinars but hiked to reach 56 thousands in the eve of the major event.
• Other travel agencies are proposing to their clients a different program which offers the possibility to travel to Egypt by route as from November 9. The itinerary will start from Algiers in the direction of the Tunisian resort “Djerba” then transit through the Libyan territory.
• The travel will last 3 days as to the fares, they are estimated at 30 thousand Algerian Dinars including the ticket entrance to the stadium, transportation and accommodation
• “Sunshine” representative explained the agency’s reluctance to organize the same itinerary by the fact that the procedure is somewhat risky, since the Libyan authorities generally oblige the travellers who pass through the borders to justify a sum of $ 1200 on their bank account.
