116 new hotels to promote tourism in Algeria
Algerian Minister of Tourism and Environment, Cherif Rahmani.

The Algerian minister of tourism and environment, Cherif Rahmani Monday revealed the project of the creation of 116 tourist complexes in 37 towns countrywide, including five-star hotels. A total of 111 local and foreign investors sealed partnership agreements with the ministry and tourists departments scattered across the country.

To give a new impetus to these projects, the ministry anointed 3 top managers to start negotiations with three major national banks to facilitate the task for the investors in order to kick off their venture.

The operation will secure some 16000 new jobs as 32 hotels are set to be built in the north east pole, 33 in the center, 27 in the western pole, 14 in southern east, 4 in southern west and another one I the great Sahara.

To recall, this agreement is a second one signed between the ministry and the investors after that the accord reached with the French flight company “Aigle Azur” which took the decision to reduce to half the prices during this summer in order to attract more tourists.

In this respect, the Algerian ministry announced that the Algerian flight company will do the same thing as part of promotional operation to attract more visitors .
