1st November 1954: Caravan of youths and sports sets off in Algiers

ALGIERS- Director General of Youths and Sports Kherfi Rabia kicked off the caravan of youths and sports on Monday at 1st May Square (Algiers) as part of the festivities commemorating the 56th anniversary of the National Liberation War.

Some 3000 boys and girls from different schools of Algiers are participating in this caravan, which is organized by the Ministry of Youths and Sports, in collaboration with Algiers Directorate of Youths and Sports.
