200 people contaminated by polluted water
More than 200 people have been evacuated to both Draa Assemar and Mohammed Boudiaf hospitals in Medea (90 km southern Algiers) poisoning caused by water pollution in the province of Ain Al Araiss.

Medical staffs are still receiving patients, whose number is due to rise to 500 cases, exhausted by fever, diarrhoea and vomiting.

Medical sources revealed to Echorouk that most of the affected left the hospital while three are still under medical care awaiting their total recovery.
