2010 World Cup qualifications: Algeria 3-0 Liberia

Algeria won a 3-0 home Friday over Liberia in a Group 6 2010 World Cup qualifying match played in Blida (70 km west of Algiers).

• The Algerian national squad ended the first half with two goals scored by Rafik Djebbour and Karim Ziani. The third goal was scored in a penalty by Ziani in the beginning of the second half.
• The last goal sealed the match as the game focused on midfield playing with some attempts from Algeria and Liberia.
• This win came to encourage Algerian players to continue the preliminaries race and will bring self-confidence back to them.
