211 million euros contract to build gas pipeline in Algeria
Algeria’s energy company Sonelgaz Wednesday said it awarded a 211 million euros contract to Algerian-Turkish group Cosider-Kanaghaz-Enac and Turkey’s Erciyas to build a part of an east-west gas pipeline.

The east-west pipeline will provide natural gas for many towns in Algeria’s high lands and northern towns, said Sonelgaz.

It also said the project would allow the creation of new industrial poles.

The state is funding the project by 85 percent while Sonelgaz is in charge of the rest of the costs.
