25 terrorists will surrender in Algeria
Terrorists are willing to surrender
About 25 terrorists who belong to the “Salafist group of preaching and combatâ€, under the leadership of Abdelmalek Droudkel, in Ouancharis region, in the southern areas of Chlef province and Beni Bouatab mountains and Senjas which extended to Ain Dafla province (west of Algeria), declare that they will end their activity and are ready to surrender.

Sources close to their families said that, they decided finally to stop armed activity and surrender to the Army, after months of communication with them in cooperation with the security interests, which support them legally and under the peace and reconciliation charter, using tapes of scientists and men of religion, which included opinions about the terrorist operations by armed groups in Algeria, and described them as non-legitimate, in addition to the non-feasibility of using weapons and violence.

These sources added to Echorouk that, the terrorists whose number ranges between 20 to 25 terrorists, decided to renounce once, including those who established the Salafist group, and fellows from the “Sunni group of preaching and combat” under the so-called Abdelkader Saouane’s leadership, before it joined the “ Salafist group” under Hassane Hattab’s command under what was called “ Unit Summit” in 2001, but now they are convinced that violence is unfair.

Sources in relation with that file told Echorouk that, contacts between this terrorist group and the Algerian army knew a “significant progress” and that their surrender was scheduled for last weekend, but they could not for unknown reasons, while other sources did not rule out the cause of “ assurances” which they demand before their final surrender.

Some terrorists’ families just said that they are still in the mountain and the army know their decision, and added they will come down soon.
