33 bailiffs prosecuted for gross misconducts

Top officials at the National Chamber of Bailiffs revealed that 33 bailiffs had recently been suspended; two of them were put in jail for gross professional mistakes while performing their duties.

• Talking to “Echourouk”, the head of the eastern chamber Saadoudi Laameri revealed that this one takes the lead with 18 cases, 11 of them are prosecuted for gross misconduct. He went on saying that this number was high in comparison with the other two chambers (center, western).
• The central chamber comes at the second position counting 9 cases , including 2 of them under custody awaiting their trial, according to the head of the camber, Mohammed Mahmoudi.
• As to the western chamber, according to its head Ali Mezghiche, this one counts 5 cases including one under custody.
• These numbers contradict the one released by the head of the national chamber of bailiffs, Mohammed Cherif who, in a previous declaration to “Echourouk”, announced that the number didn’t exceed 10 cases adding that the tendency was towards the decrease year after year.
