3rd National Festival of Women's Poetry to be held in Constantine from 10 to 15 October

The third edition of the National Festival of Women's Poetry will kick off on 10 October in Constantine (431-km east of Algiers), announced Sunday the Festival's Commissioner Mounira-Saada Khalkhal.

Over one hundred poetesses from different provinces of the country will participate in the multilingual cultural event (Arabic, French, English, Tamazight and spoken Arabic), which will take place in Constantine Regional Theatre from 10 to 15 October.

Guests of honour from Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Sudan and Syria have been invited to attend the forum and listen to the best poems of Arab poetesses, said Khalkhal, adding the festival will be also marked by the presence of distinguished Algerian guests, including the author and former minister Z’hor Ounissi, Zineb Laouadj, Saliha Boughedad, Raouia Yahiaoui, Kheira Hameulaine, Nouara Lahrache, Nadia Nouacer and Saliha Naidja.
