4 bars owners arrested for drug smuggling in western Algeria

Four bars and nightclubs owners in Oran province (west of Algiers) have recently been arrested for being involved in an international drug smuggling network. Additionally, a big restaurant was inspected by the National Gendarmerie forces, three days ago within an investigation in money laundry, according to security sources.

• The bars and nightclubs owners were arrested after huge quantities of drugs had been seized. Investigations showed that they were supporting smuggling networks from Oran and Meghnia to Europe.
• The restaurant was inspected on the basis of information of suspicious acts noticed on his owner. The case is going on and the leaders of the network are expected to be found out.
