400 kg of dynamite seized south of Algeria

Algerian national gendarmerie seized Monday more than 400 kg of dynamite found inside a stronghold in a palm groves near El Magren locality. Weapons and chemical materials for manufacturing bombs and explosive belts were also found in the same place.  

• Gendarmes raided the grove and found explosives, anti-aircraft machine gun, RPG 7 machine gun, belonging to the borders guards killed last February by the GSPC, Kalashnikovs and 8000 bullets.
• The warehouse was discovered up on information prvided by a terrorist who surrendered last October.
• Gendarmerie already found video-tapes in the same place showing a GSPC training camp. It is supposed to be located between Tebessa and Khenchla localities, east of Algeria. The pictures show new recruits trained in the presence of  their chief.
