Security services of Chlef locality, west of Algeria, addressed 47 cases of drugs since the beginning of the year, involving 81 people, as the police raids seized over three kilos of cannabis and 1573 hallucinogenic pills, and 58 people stand before the court of Chlef which ordered their pre-trial detention waiting for the end of the investigation.

• The number of the cases since the beginning of the year reaches 3064 cases, including 2250 closed cases involving 3011 people, who have been brought to justice which ordered provisional custody for 766 people and direct convocation for 65 people and 107 accused put under judicial control, the media cell of Chlef security services say.

• “ We noticed a decline in the number of cases of drugs compared to the last year, as we recorded 4236 cases, including 3476 completed cases, involving 3201 people, and 950 people in temporary detention and 641 people who received a direct call and 54 accused put under judicial control”, an official at the media cell of the security services of Chlef says.
