50 percent of Algerian high competences migrated abroad

Algerian experts working in big international companies in North America and Europe revealed that the current living conditions and political and social environments are not encouraging Algerian “Diaspora” s return who migrated abroad in recent decades.

• They confirmed during the second day of the seventh international forum of the excellence management club and who know very intensive international participation, that Algerian competencies return to the big companies and research centres in USA, Canada, and EU countries needs a rapid initiative from the government.

• They added that 50 Algerian tyres are working abroad, and that the only solution to their resort is by persuading them to participate in the national economy development and using an active “lobby” at a global level.

• Algerian expert residing in the USA and former researcher in “Silicon Valley”, revealed the biggest centre on technological researches in modern communication media, that Algeria had very big opportunity to develop this sector because of huge efficiencies’ presence in this sector, referring to 1000 Algerian working in USA’s “Silicon Valley”.

• Mohsine Toumi added that developing this sector must be incorporated into an integrated strategy so as not to become mere targets.

• Businessman and director of “Cevital”, Yesaad Rabrab, confirmed that Algeria owns distinct competencies allowing the lift of Algerian competitive economy inside and abroad Algeria, adding that food industry’s branch, belonging to “Holding” becomes first in its field, mentioning that Holding’s won 1.6 billion dollars last year and will reach five billion dollars in 2012.
