The national company to valuate hydrocarbons signed contracts to explore oil in various region of the Algerian south, in cooperation with foreign companies and Sonatrach, as representative of Algeria.

• The first deal was signed between Eni Algeria Exploration “B.F”, one unit of the Italian Group Eni, which was authorized under this contract, to search for hydrocarbons in Kerzaz, Adrar, south of Algeria.

• The second deal signed with Petrovietnam
• Exploration Production Corporation obtained exploration contract in Tougert, Ouargla, south of Algeia.

• The French company Gas de France signed the third deal and obtained a portion of the cake through the exploration contract in Touat, Adrare, south of Algeria, along with “Total” and the Spanish Compania Espanola de Petroleos, which is a branch of the large company Cepsa, in Timimoune, Adrare, as well as Andarco Algeria and Company Mayersk in Zemla Ennaka.

• The Spanish Repsol and Edison International also convene to explore Ragan.

• All these contracts were approved by the president Abdelaziz Bouteflika during the ceremony of the last official Gazette.
