Interior Ministry’s decision, that was recently issued, and under which the law of 2003 on the exploitation of beaches was abolished, is neglected in many Algerian beaches.

Interior Ministry was not applied through a number of Algerian beaches, and is neglected by many private investors, as a lot of local officials kept silent and ignore the policy of its implementation and the application of the decision on the ground, and put an end to the excesses.

Echorouk visited a number of western and eastern beaches of the country, which prompted the “mafia” of  beaches to come back strongly, by the end of Ramadan, and exploit a large number of the beaches of the Algerian coast, and occupy strategic places and put their tables and parasols, and impose large sums to holidaymakers that reached in some beaches 1,500 DZD, making a lot of vacationers express their discontent from the situation and the silence of those responsible parties from deterring all law violators and abusers, which is costing the pockets of holidaymakers amounts of money, depriving many of  people who have low-income from enjoying relaxation and comfort, as they cheered good after the abolition of the law by the interior ministry, but they were surprised of not applying the law on the ground, which raises a lot of questions, as vacationers have to pay those amounts so as not to engage in skirmishes which have dire consequences.
