Government decides to make change among officials in Ghardaia

Government decides to take ministerial movement to stand on the crisis of Ghardaia (southern Algeria), due to the acts of violence and vandalism that erupted three months ago.

Government prepared a program to evaluate the damages, as a financial cover to help the victims of vandalism was allocated after it gave strict instructions to all the administrative and economic branches for the ministerial directorates, about the situation in Ghardaia and Benoura municipalities, asking them to adopt the direct contact with the population, and urging them to choose the reconciliation in settling the possible clashes.

Instruction, which copy is available to Echorouk, said; “Situation in Ghardaia developed positively but it needs always governmental care, as improving security situation should be good for the initiative by public authorities, and this through the embodiment of urgent and coordinated measures to realize the success of protection and intervention for ensuring security of properties and people in Ghardaia”.

Government took a set of urgent decision, including conducting a partial movement among officials in various local and state structures in this wilaya, as to choose professionals and experienced in solving local conflicts.

During the ministerial meeting, it was agreed on the need to conduct a ministerial movement in Ghardaia, through including a number of ministries like trade, housing, health, national solidarity, and youth and sports, as every ministry evaluates the situation of the sector in this city, to help development, especially after stopping the projects due to violence and vandalism, and intensify housing programs and cultural, sports and entertainment places, and promote cultural and spiritual events which aim to create a tight social link, with highlighting the richness of the region’s heritage and the Mizab customs.
