Drug Barons Allied with Terrorists, Maj. Gen. Abdelghani Hamel says

Maj. Gen. Abdelghani Hamel, General Manager of the National Security, said that there ist a relationship between the drug barons and armed terrorist groups in the form of alliance of the two parties to drug trafficking, an activity that is covered by the armed terrorists.

On the sidelines of his supervision on the opening of the 38 Edition of the National Information Days on the activities of the National Security in Boumerdes, east of Algiers, the spokesman added that the security coverage in the city reaches 75%, while it reaches 100% at the national level, asserting that this coverage was taken for seveal considerations, including the population density, geographical location and the growth of the organized crime in the region.

In this context, Hamel explained that the females in security servies reaches 8%, while the General directorate of Security is seeking to reach 30%, and on the response to electronic crime, Hamel revealed on the plan which is adopted by the General Directorate for National Security, to fight organized crime, which is implementated to reduce the growing of the phenomenon in society, adding that there is a cooperation between Algeria and Libya, and denying the deal of the General Directorate for National Security with the Libyan Transitional Council in the field of training the Libyan police.
