Government allocates 2 billion DZD for Tourist Projects South of Algeria
Government allocated, according to a source linked to the file of tourism, 2 billion DZD for the development of tourism in the southern Wilayas, and to the rehabilitation of the public tourist hotels in Adrar, Ghardaia, Tamanrasset, Illizi, Ouergla and Laghouat (south of Algeria), and create areas of tourist expansion in Ghardaia and Tamanrasset.
The Ministry allocated, after the floods of October 2008, large sums of money estimated at 20 billion DZ to protect the municipality Ghardaia of the risk of flooding, but that large amount of money, which were used primarily in the construction of some dams and levees across the municipalities, even if such barriers do not match with the standards, at a time lands are exploited for building close to streams and valleys though the decision of preventing the construction and punishment by depriving property .
