« Matoub Lounes » singer killers trial postponed for supplementary investigation

Criminal court of Tizi Ouzou has postponed, on Monday trial of the kabyl singer “Matoub Lounes” killers to a later date, in order to conduct supplementary investigation of the issue under strict security measures, where hundreds of people were present in solidarity with “Matoub lounes” family, who was killed in a day of June 1998 by a terrorist in the entrance of “Tela Bounane” village.

• After more than one hour of suspense, the meeting has been immediately and officially declared after the Juries selection, then 50 central witnesses have been called, in addition to experts for a fair trial, -according to “N.Aldgia”- Matoub mother, who said that those accused are not guilty and refused to be “Scapegoats” and she asked justice to bring 6 persons who were involved in the assassination of her son( without mentioning their names).
• After deliberation, criminal court Judge issued an order to achieve a supplementary investigation in the issue.
