A Spanish businessman swindles an Algerian firm and flees to Madrid with 210 million dinars

The Manager of an Algerian enterprise based in Oran and specialized in sanitation and hotel catering was the victim of a swindling operation hatched by a Spanish businessman formerly settled in the city of Oran.

• The two sides had initialed a two-year renewable partnership agreement on the supply of  foodstuffs and related products by the Spanish businessman who reneged on the contract and fled suddenly to Madrid in Spain with a financial package estimated at 210 million dinars.

• During his stay in Algeria, the Spanish businessman used to offer catering services to the personnel of a Spanish oil company linked to Sonatrach group in the Oran area.

• The hapless manager of the Algerian enterprise has lodged a complaint with the relevant security services in a bid to retrieve his stolen money with the arrest of the swindler who has fled to Spain.
