The AADL housing agency is expected to close its official website for maintenance reasons as it was saturated due to large number of applicants for housing projects, Echorouk has learnt.

The website has been visited for more than 20 million times and 754,000 applications were submitted. Fake applications will be banned while the other ones will be examined. Counterfeiters and those who declare false salary will be jailed.

Applicants who want to obtain a three-room-house will have to pay 210,000 DZ as first payment and 270,000 DZ for four-room-houses, according to the same sources.

The Algerian housing ministry will start achieving the projects before determining their value while the State pays 50 percent of the houses real price.
