Abdelmadjid Tebboune: “Algerians to benefit from many housing Projects in 2013”

Minister of Housing and Construction, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, announcedon the establishment of a Directorate of equipment, to be independentfrom the Directorate of Development, tasked with following up work ofcompleting the public facilities in the housing projects, as a special Decree for this directorate will be issue soon.

“Given the tough task of the directorates of housing, because they

ensure the various stages in the completion operations, it was decided

to separate the reconstruction Directorate from the Directorate of

processing, which can assign everyone with responsibility”, the

minister added.

Tebboune explained on Sunday, during his supervision of the opening of

the annual assessment meeting of managers housing and construction,

held at the new headquarters of the fund of guarantee and mutual

insurance in promoting estate in Ouled Fayet, that the session Sunday

and Monday, will be an assessment for the year 2012 and a the session

of launching 2013, which requires concerted efforts to realize the a

President’s program 2009/2014, on time, “even though it needs

reconsideration on management”.

“The percentage of the completion of the two million houses reached

55%, as the ministry is expected to grant licences for European and

Chinese mixed companies to accelerate the pace of achievement while

maintaining quality, in order to deliver the projects in their right

time”.

The minister will decide about the fate of the managers to leave by

the end of the meeting, asserting that the year 2013 will be decisive

and different from all the years, as a large number of citizens in

various formulates will benefit from houses, and periodic meetings of

assessment will be held every three months to assess the effectiveness

of the programs and as Tebboune orders the managers to prepare

themselves in order to catch up the deficit and end the programs in

the right time.

For his part, Ahmed Madani, adviser to the Minister in charge of

communication said, on the sidelines of the meeting, that the services

of the National Agency for upgrading and developing housing “ADL”

will receive everyday 400 citizens to examine their files for

subscribers of the years 2001 and 2002.

The agency announced on Sunday that citizens who have filed

applications for 2001 and 2002 and did not pay the first payment,

estimated at 10%, can receive calls related to updating the files via

registration in the guaranteed post, from today’s date, January 14, as

underwriters will be called, based on dates that are programmed at the

headquarters of the General Directorate of the Agency, where

individual summons will be sent to the beneficiaries on the right

date, based on the chronology of time of depositing the first file,

accompanied with residence document in less than a month, and a

statement about not taking advantage of the housing on the date of

depositing the file, a copy of the marriage contract for married, in

addition to the birth certificate No. 12 editor in less than a month,

as well as the last salary document.

The agency requires that the concerned should respect the deadline

that is set out in the summon to ensure better reception, and the

conduct of the process in the best of circumstances, asserting that

the registration in the new program will be opened after the

completion of the process of renewing the old files.
