Prior to the match versus the Tunisian club ( Espérance of Tunis) in the province of Ghades, most likely the last game with his current club of ES Setif, the Algerian striker Abdelmalek Ziaya gave an interview to our reporter at the Sheraton hotel in Tunis.

-
Q: Is it really the last match with your club?
-
-
A: Yes…yes I can assert it especially that the president Abdelhakim Serrar and my brother Mohammed have agreed upon the provisions of the contract with the managers of the French club Sochaux.
-
-
Q: Don’t you think that you have rushed to sign with such an important club like Sochaux.?
-
-
A: Things went beyond my will, Sochaux have insisted to seal a contract with me after supervising the match versus the Malian club in Setif, but this is a positive point for my career and will certainly open new prospects in the future.
-
-
Q: What was the deal with this club?
-
-
A: I have followed my president’s advise and stood away from the negotiations; according the latest news my official start with the club is slated for the end of the end of the African Cup of Nations tournament.
-
-
Q: What about your fresh call up to join the Algeria squad?
-
-
A: It’s a privilege for me especially that the head coach Rabah Saadane was supervising my performances since the start of the season. I’m really enthusiastic and will do my utmost to the very best of me to secure my place among the group.
