Abortion criminals caught in Algeria

Security forces dismantled an international network of six members on Sunday involved in aborting single mothers in Ain Timouchent province (west of Algiers).

• The criminals were led by a 50-year-old woman working in a medical centre. Three doctors in the private sector helped her to abort an Algerian women living in France.
• Investigators raided her house and found a room equipped with medical devices and a big quantities of medicines intended to abortion.
• She helped pregnant girls to abort in return for 20,000 to 30,000 DZ while the doctors helped her in using the medicines.
• The used medicines are banned from drug stores. The suspects used to get them from France by an Algerian woman living in France with the help of a 37-year-old woman living in Ain Timouchent.
