Algeria’s team composed of local players went Saturday to France for a preparatory training camp that will last until January 7 in Castelli near Toulon, southern France, in anticipation of the 27th round of Africa Cup of Nations 2010 to be held in Angola from January 10 to 23.

Algeria’s internationals will join their local team-mates on Sunday, including Lounes Gaouaoui, Zaoui Samir (ASO Chlef), Faouzi Chaouchi, Rahou Slimane, Khaled Lemouchia, Lifaoui Abdelkader and Abdelmalek Ziaia (ES Setif), Mohamed Lamine Zamamouche and Reda Babouche (MCA), as well as the player of Nacional Madeira (Section 1 in Portugal) Rafik Halliche.

In anticipation of the African Cup of Nations 2010, coach Rabah Saadane called 28 players in order to participate in this round.

Algeria will play in the African Cup of Nations in the group A with Angola, Mali and Malawi.
