Dozens of African illegal immigrants who were living in Ghardaia province, South of Algeria, disappeared after last Wednesday’s floods.

• Algerian authorities feared they died, because they worked in gardening in Ouad Mizab, North east of Ghardaia province.

• This information about Africans, living illegally in Algeria, obliged Health authorities, Gendarmes and the Army to close the areas where Africans have been drowned, and start the rescue teams’ work there.
•  
• Doctors from Ghardaia hospitals said; “A big quantity of Chlorine disinfectant was put there to avoid environmental disaster and instructions to prevent citizens from walking in the affected areas were given, in order to facilitate the rescue teams’ task and avoid a real ecologic disaster”.
