Air Algérie reduces ticket prices for Algerians living in France
Algeria’s Air Algérie said it decrease its ticket prices for trips from France in summer 2009 provided that Algerians living in France buy tickets before June 15, according to a statement.

“Those reductions will be implemented exclusively on its ticket prices for trips from France estimated at 48 percent for families, 45 percent for elderly people and 40 percent for young people,” said the same statement.
-
Those reductions touch families who earn not more than 1,200 euros per month and people aged more than 60 and have modest salaries.
-
The procedure is expected to enter in force in summer and will be limited in the Algerian community in France and Spain. It will be generalised on other countries in the next steps by virtue of an agreement signed by the Algerian solidarity ministry.

The agreement stipulates coordination between Air Algérie and the ministry to transport Algerians of low salaries to their homes when they arrive to their country.
