Air Algerie Opens Up Tehran and Beijing Routes
Algeria's national airline Air Algerie will open a new air route between Algiers and Tehran soon, Chief Executive Officer said.

Abdelouahid Bouabdellah also announced Sunday new Algerian air route between the Algerian capital and Beijing is due to be opened soon.

“The new air routes aim at expanding the Algerian air network to many cities in the world,” he told reporters.

Earlier in April, the Air Algerie CEO said the airline planned to acquire major stakes in the capital of several African airline companies.

It also plans to acquire 11 aircrafts including 4 of 70 seats, 7 of 150 seats and 2 cargos.

Air Algerie, the third largest air carrier in Africa after South African Airways and Egyptair operates scheduled international services to 39 destinations in 28 countries in Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East.
