Air France, Alitalia to launch a cuts program during Ramadan

Alliance between Air France and Alitalia announced on a program of important cuts for the flights of the two companies from Algeria to France and Italy, during the holy month of Ramadan, on the occasion of the opening of the second joint agency of the two companies in Algiers Sofitel Hotel.

Giselle Nusir, General Manager of Air France in Algeria, said during a joint press conference with Wassila Bousaad, General Manager of the company “Alitalia” Algeria, that both companies in addition to the Dutch Royal Airlines (KLM) provide more than 900 destinations to 167 counries around the world for Algerians, ‭through airports of Paris, Rome, Milan, Marseille, and Amsterdam with the international standards that are operating in the ‭civil aviation field.
“The choice of the joint agency’s second headquarters in Algiers Hamma district, came on the basis of important shifts that are known in the neighborhood since the launch of Algiers metro, as the business center of Hamma and Sofitel hotel become the major destination for business. the launch of the new agency falls within the partnership between “Air France”, KLM”and “Alitalia”‭. ‬
The spokeswoman revealed that “Alitalia” joined the “Blue biz” program oriented to its customers from small and medium-sized Algerian institutions, from 16 July with “Air France” and “KLM”, as the program allows workers of small and medium-sized companies hat are contracting with the two companies when traveling, to collect points during each trip on the lines of the three companies around the world, and those points can be converted to tickets or higher degrees or larger amounts of luggage, as the points that are collected by the companies are valid for 36 months beginning from the date of the flight.
With regard to the cuts that were announced during Ramadan, the GM of Air France asserted that the flight from Algiers will be reduced to 15000 DA throughout Ramadan, and 34000 DA from Paris during the same period, as the cuts will reach all global destinations, including North America, China, Singapore, South Africa , and U.S, Asian and Middle East countries, as the giant 380 “Airbus-A” aircrafts will join Singapore and Los Angeles flights ‭. ‬
