Algeria: “21.000 new job opportunities earmarked for education sector”

The national education ministerial department has decided to earmark a total of 21 thousand new job opportunities for education personnel across the country with on focus 12 thousand new budgetary posts in the administrative apparatus in charge of the running of school facilities.

Well-informed sources told Echorouk that these employment opportunities required from the applicants to sit first for a competitive exam slated for next November prior to any hopeful recruitment by the authorities concerned.

The same sources said that 2.142 new jobs had been created including 333 of them assigned for heads of secondary schools, 440 others for intermediate schools and 1.369 for heads of primary schools.

Furthermore, 726 new budgetary posts have been devoted to school inspectors including 215 of them in the primary cycle, 120 others in the secondary cycle while 109 new posts have been allotted to national education inspectors whose body will be bolstered as a result.

Scores of other job opportunities will be up for grabs notably concerning the posts of inspectors in charge of school and vocational training guidance, as well as vice-principals and school bursars for the benefit of all those candidates who will duly pass the upcoming competitive exams organized to this effect.
