Reliable sources told Echorouk newspaper that the criminal court of Chlef (western Algeria ), is to look into 8 terrorism-related affairs starting from next month.

Or top of these affairs, the Chlef criminal court is to try on May 25th , a terrorist chieftain nicknamed Ould Lebane who was arrested in 2005 when elements of the National Gendarmerie stormed his house in the Ouadi  Sili locality.

The latter and 2 other arrested terrorist lenders will be facing charges of mass murders and destruction of private property in addition to racketeering committed in several remote areas of Chlef province.

These sinister individuals joined the terrorist hordes in 1996 and had, since then, sowed mayhem among the local civilian populations in Chlef province until their arrest several years ago, together with some of their henchmen, by security forces.

These terrorists, given their hideous criminal record, could face the death penalty or life imprisonment, according to judicial sources.
