Algeria / A week after the Issers terrorist bombing, 7 unidentified bodies awaiting DNA testing
Seven distressed families are still eagerly waiting for the handing over by the services of the Al Alia mortuary of the bodies of their next of kin who were mowed down in last week’s cowardly terrorist bombing against a Gendarmerie high school in the locality of Les Issers, in eastern Boumerdes province.

The victims’ families have been desperately waiting for a week now outside the Al Alia mortuary of Algiers to recover the bodies for burial but, so far, to no avail.
-
-
Sources on the spot told Echorouk reporters that most of the remaining dead bodies, now held at the Al Alia morgue, are unrecognizable as they were completely charred by the powerful bomb blast.
-
-
The same sources added that these mournful families should now await the completion of a DNA testing process to be able to recover the bodies once the proper identification procedure is terminated.

The grieved families want to recover the bodies as early as possible to be able to bury them before the start of the holy month of fasting of Ramadhan, scheduled this year for early September.
