Algeria : Al-Qaeda acknowledges its retreat on several fronts owing to Army
Terror groups are lacking real infirmaries in their rear bases.

A “Doctor” of the so-called Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb has admitted that the terrorist groups have sustained severe casualties in the heavy and relentless bombardments carried out by troops of the National Popular Army against their hide-outs and rear bases in the mountains and dense forests in several parts of the country.

The Al-Qaeda terror group has vainly sought, through a video footage, to minimize the losses suffered by its elements in the face of the Army troops’ fire barrage as part of their repeated combing operations conducted notably in the provinces if Tizi Ouzou, Batna, Biskra and Boumerdes.

The so-called Al-Qaeda doctor, shown in the video footage posted on a terrorist website, acknowledged that the Al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorists had sustained serious injuries and that medical supplies were running out.

He also said that the terror groups were also lacking real infirmaries in their rear bases adding that some of the wounded were being treated with traditional medical products in the absence of pharmaceuticals and the necessary surgical equipment.
