Algeria and France to set up judicial partnership: Ambassador says.

The French ambassador to Algiers, Xavier Driancourt has revealed that both the French embassy and its Algerian counterpart have sealed an agreement to set up a partnership between the judges.

• “Cooperation between Algeria and France is not limited to a specific sector, but it expands to other sectors of activity including justice. Recently, we have agreed upon the appointment of judges in both embassies to treat cases related to families and children resulted from interracial marriages”, he said.
• The ambassador added that his country signed the same type of accords with 15 European and American countries.
• As part of a tour in the “Aures” region (eastern Algeria), which reached its final stage in the province of Biskra (south east of Algeria) last Wednesday, Xavier Driancourt took the floor before journalists in a press conference at the Mohammed Khider airport and accentuated the existing growth potential of the provinces he had visited.
•  Replying to a question in relation to the supplementary financial law, the ambassador said ” The Algerian government’s decision s are sovereign and shouldn’t be commented, but I will do my best to sway the French Chamber of Commerce and its subscribers to respect these decision rush to invest in Algeria”.
• M Xavier Driancourt went on saying that France cannot withdraw from the Algerian market as there is no room for failure especially that the relationships between the two countries have improved” We have interests in all sectors of activity that’s why we seek strong  partnership with Algeria and work for overcoming any impediment that could hamper this process”
