Algeria army kills six terrorists
Six terrorists were killed and some of their hideouts were destroyed Tuesday in the province of Boumerdes (50 km east of Algeria), Echorouk has learnt from military sources.

The Algerian army killed the terrorists in a military operation in Bouzezeka mountain south of Boumerdes. It used helicopters and heavy artillery, and surrounding the area, said the same sources.

Boumerdes is the main stronghold of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC) which claimed responsibility for a series of terrorist attacks in Algeria.
