Algeria Berriane clashes: 10 people involved in theft and vandalism go to jail

A court in Ghardaia province (south of Algeria) Friday ordered to jail 10 suspects involved in recent violence acts in the town of Berriane while 3 others were put under judicial control, according to a judicial source.

• Security forces Friday introduced 13 prisoners to justice including six arrested by the Gendarmerie. They all remain in prison, in addition to 7 arrested by the police. Four of them, are in prison and the rest are under judicial control following investigation.  
• Sources close to the investigation said some of these prisoners who are between 20 and 35 or 48 years old had already been involved in crimes such as theft and property infringement.
