Algeria car bomb wounds 25

A car bomb exploded near a police station in Tizi Ouzou province (100 km east of Algiers) wounding 25 people including four policemen, Algerian Interior Ministry said.

• According to Echorouk’s correspondent, the suicide attack which was carried out with a white Peugeot car went off at 5:5 a.m. causing serious damage in neighbouring buildings and panic among residents.
• There was no immediate claim of responsibility while the so-called Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb previously said it was behind similar suicide attacks in Algeria.
