Rabah Saâdane
The national team coach, Rabah Saâdane, has reiterated his resolve to stay at the helm of the Algeria football squad until the end of the 2010 World cup tournament in South Africa in which Algeria is slated to take part after a praiseworthy qualification thanks to the unflagging efforts of all and sundry.
-
In a statement to the national radio, Rabah Saâdane, stressed that he would stick to his national duty at the head of the Algeria line-up against all odds.
-
The national team coach hit out against those malevolent rumours spread of late by certain ill-intentioned circles about his alleged intention to tender his resignation from his post at the helm of the technical staff of the national squad.
-
He slashed at these rumours as part of a vain disinformation and destabilization campaign unleashed by certain malevolent people who have been insidiously seeking, he said, to put spokes in his wheels with the covert aim of undermining the ever successful Algerian national squad on the eve of the kick off of the Africa Cup of Nations competition in Angola.
-
Rabah Saâdane further said that the Greens’ 2 – week training camp held in the Castellet sports centre in Southern France had been crowned with full success at all levels.
-
He added that all the players of the squad were fully determined to spare no effort on the pitch to honour the national colours during the upcoming African football tournament in Angola starting from January 11th 2010 with on schedule a decisive fixture between Algeria and Malawi in Luanda stadium.
