Secretary General of the National Democratic Rally, Ahmed Ouyahia and the Prime Minister Abdelaziz Belkhadem.

The National Democratic Rally deputy, Ben Halima Ben Touigua staunchly criticized Abdelaziz Belkhadem’s government for “the lack of coherence between its ministers “indicating that some ministers communicate erroneous information to the president. The head of the parliament was forced to intervene qualifying these allegations “irrelevant”.

The deputy’s intervention prompts back the campaign led few months ago by the head of the party, Ahmed Ouyahia in which he denounced a lack of transparency when dealing with huge sums of money allotted by the government for the benefit of the national solidarity.

But this time around the attacks were more virulent, when M Ben Touigua yesterday at the plenary session of the parliament, implicitly pointed at both the ministers of solidarity and employment, respectively Djamel Oueld Abbas and Tayeb Louh .

M Benhalima criticized the solidarity minister saying “ how come that he (Oueld Abbas) promises to give 50 millions Algerian Dinars for each illegal immigrant while the interior minister today announces the issue of a punitive law against them” .

The deputy went on saying before M Zerhouni “What is expected from us in this parliament in front of this contradiction, should we stare or bring flutes “. To the employment minister M Benhalima launched “ He lies upon the president when he forwards to him estimates talking about an unemployment rate not exceeding 12%, which completely untrue “

The deputy concluded by “ We agree upon the maestro ( the president), upon the piece of music ( his project) but some want to play as they please”.

During this session, several deputies slashed at foreign workers, notably the “Chinese workforce” accused of working illegally off-duty after the expiration of their work permits.
