Algeria dismantles three Al-Ahmaddiyya supporting networks
The National Gendarmerie forces dismantled three networks of 20 people including traders who promote Al-Ahmadiyya. A house was discovered in Algiers which was turned into a hideout to exercise this doctrine rituals. A large number of fake holy books, computers, CDs, circulars and books relating to Al-Ahmadiyya were seized, Echorouk has learnt.
Investigators dismantled an international network of 8 people working for Al-Ahmadiyya. This came upon information about this group which operated in Algiers and other provinces. They promoted ideas to mislead people and raise doubts about Islam. They pretend that another prophet exists.
According to the same sources, the investigators arrested the network’s members who said they had been operating for a while. They turned a house in Algiers to a shelter to exercise their rituals.
Another network was dismantled in Algiers. It included 7 people operating in Algiers, Blida and Tipaza.
In the area of Cheraga, the National Gendarmerie forces arrested 5 people who worked for Al-Ahmaddiyya. A computer, circulars and fake holy books were seized.
The same sources said the National Gendarmerie forces launched a campaign to arrested Al-Ahmaddiyya’s partisans. More than 120 people have been arrested so far.
